Danish designer Mads Ascanius and I, founded Rezist,
a line of men's and women's club-wear, accessories and furniture.
Resist was inspired and influenced by the dystopian worlds of
Terry Gilliam's Brazil, Oshii / Fujiwara's Kerberos Panzer Cop and
the emergence of international terrorism. The clothing line used
industrial and military surplus fabrics and fasters. It was introduced
in 1990 during the First Gulf War at the Metropolis nightclub in
Montreal and sold in boutiques in Canada and through RayGun
Magazine.

1990: Shopping bag. A provocative geo-political statement for Rezist featuring
George Bush and Saddam Hussein.

Our first collection include about forty pieces, inner and outer garments
for both men and women. Here are some of the pieces.
Men's trench coat, women's bomber jacket, sweater, slacks and dress.
The coats are made from an industrial breathable polurethane and the
dress is in Lycra/cotton.
