Three of my former students (Debra Bishop, Alli Truch, and Jennifer

Roddie) as well myself were included in the "The Wild Years". A new

exhibit at the School of Visual Arts in Chelsea is paying homage to the

40-year career of the school's advertising and graphic design chair,

Richard Wilde. NY1's Roger Clark filed the following report. "Richard

Wild took a stroll Monday through a new exhibition named for him at

the School of Visual Arts, filled with work from many of his former

students. "Viewing this work is actually mind-boggling, I haven't

truly digested it yet." Wilde said. The exhibition is called "The Wilde

Years: four decades of shaping visual culture" and is currently on

display at the school's gallery on West 26th Street. It celebrates

Wilde's 40 years at SVA, and the designers, art directors and other

creative professionals who graduated from the advertising and

graphic design department he chairs."
